A single individual in his or her late 50s who lives in an apartment can probably be more aggressive than a married pair in their early 30s who has a mortgage and is attempting to pay off their own student loan debt while saving for their children’s future. If you want to save for retirement, for example, you’ll need to change your plan as you become older. Avoid fads such as cryptocurrency and cannabis stocks. Keep your money in tried-and-true investments.

However, financial confidence remains very constant until around the age of 90. This isn’t a winning combo.
